Where are the differences?

Let us take a closer look at the differences between the two weightlifting shoes Inov-8 Fastlift 335 and Reebok Lifter PR.

Heel Higth

The heel height (blast) is the core element of every weightlifter shoe. Most models have a heel height of about 0.7". This corresponds to a blast of 17 millimeters. The paragraph height of the Fastlift 335 is 16,5 mm. This means that the blast is higher than for the Lifter PR with 15,5 mm.

The right heel height depends a little bit on you personally. With long legs you should rather choose a higher heel height. In this case the Inov-8 Fastlift 335 would be the better choice.

The way you perform your squat also plays a role in the decision. If you have a tight stance as well as the high bar squat, a larger blast is recommended. Therefore the Fastlift 335 is also the variant with the higher heel. With a wide stand or the low-bar squat, a flatter blast is more suitable. When comparing the Inov-8 Fastlift 335 and the Reebok Lifter PR this would be the Lifter PR.

Verschluss

Both shoes have laces for closure. For a better hold on the foot, both weightlifting shoes have an additional strap with velcro fastening. Neither of the two models has a tension lock for extremely good hold. However, this is of more interest to the elite of weightlifters.
