In comparison the JBL Flip 6 with 2,5 hours has a shorter loading time than the JBL Flip Essential 2 with 3,0 hours. With 4800 mah the JBL Flip 6 has a larger battery capacity. With the JBL Flip Essential 2 the capacity is 3250 mah.
Waterproof
Both speakers are waterproof. Both the JBL Flip Essential 2 and the JBL Flip 6 are certified with IP67.
Bluetooth
The built-in Bluetooth is identical to version 5.1 for both devices. A newer Bluetooth version offers a better stability in the connection. Thus also a higher comfort in the application is given.
Powerbank
With the Powerbank function, other devices can be charged via USB using the speaker. Of course, this is at the expense of the battery life of the speaker.
Leistung
The performance is the JBL Flip 6 at 20 + 10 Watt. The JBL Flip Essential 2 has a power of 20 Watt.
