Size and weight
The two devices differ in their dimensions. The smaller a loudspeaker is, the more practical it is in use, of course.

Battery
With regard to battery life, the JBL Flip 6 can trump with up to 12,0 hours. The JBL Flip 6 has a battery life of up to 5,0 hours. In practice, the specification of the battery life can often be somewhat lower, since the manufacturers specify the maximum possible performance. The loading time does not differ for the two devices and is 2,5 hours. With 4800 mah the JBL Flip 6 has a larger battery capacity. With the JBL GO 2 the capacity is 730 mah.
Waterproof
Both speakers are waterproof. The JBL Flip 6 is certified with IP67. With the JBL GO 2 a IPX7 certification is present.
Bluetooth
With Bluetooth version 5.1 the JBL Flip 6 has a newer version than the JBL GO 2. There we have Bluetooth of the version 4.1. A newer Bluetooth version offers a better stability in the connection. Thus also a higher comfort in the application is given.
Powerbank
With the Powerbank function, other devices can be charged via USB using the speaker. Of course, this is at the expense of the battery life of the speaker.
Leistung
The performance is the JBL Flip 6 at 20 + 10 Watt. The JBL GO 2 has a power of 3 Watt. The driver of the JBL GO 2 has 40 mm.
