Heart rate measurement
Both sensors have the ECG measurement. This is very accurate and is recommended rather than the optical measurement.

Connection options
Bluetooth has become a very popular option for connecting heart rate sensors and pulse belts. Both the Garmin HRM-Dual and the Wahoo TICKR offer this. The connection via Bluetooth is mostly used for cell phones or fitness watches. Some new devices in fitness studios also offer Bluetooth as an option.

Belt
Most heart rate sensors can be adjusted in size. This is especially relevant for chest straps. The minimum belt length of the Garmin HRM-Dual is 63,5 cm. For the Wahoo TICKR the minimum belt length is 58,0 cm. The maximum length for the Garmin HRM-Dual is 132,0 cm. The Wahoo TICKR has a maximum belt length of 122,0 cm.
