Notable differences
Both, the LUNA 3 and the LUNA mini 3 can be controlled through an app. The devices can be connect to the app via Bluetooth and let you take control of the massage intensity of your facial cleansing.
The app also helps you to locate your cleansing device in case you've misplaced it. Between the two, this only works with the FOREO LUNA mini 3.
On top of this, the LUNA mini 3 by FOREO has the Glow Boost Technology built in, which is a special 30-second cleansing program to give your face a glowing effect.
Massage Pulsations
Both facial cleansing brushes work with the same amount of 8000 pulsations per minute. There's no difference when it comes to their ability of cleaning dirt, oil and sweat from the pores.
The LUNA 3 has an advantage over its counterpart when it comes to the amount of massage intensity levels. It has 16 levels, while the LUNA mini 3 merely has 12.
Material
The LUNA 3 is made of Hygienisches Silikon. The material of the FOREO LUNA mini 3 is Hygienisches Silikon. Both are hygienic and waterproof.You shouldn't wash them in a dish washer. Silicon Spray is recommended instead.
Battery
The LUNA 3 has a longer lasting battery. The producer states that it can be used 650 before recharging is necessary. By contrast, the LUNA mini 3 can be used 400 before charging it again.
Both products include a USB-charging cable.
For the LUNA 3 it takes 2 hours to charge. The LUNA mini 3 takes 1,5 hours.
