Notable differences
The LUNA 3 can be controlled through an app, while the LUNA mini 2 does not feature this option. With the help of the app, you can connect the LUNA 3 via Bluetooth. This let's you control the intensity and routine of the facial cleansing massage.
The app also helps you to locate your cleansing device in case you've misplaced it.
Massage Pulsations
Both facial cleansing brushes work with the same amount of 8000 pulsations per minute. There's no difference when it comes to their ability of cleaning dirt, oil and sweat from the pores.
The LUNA 3 has an advantage over its counterpart when it comes to the amount of massage intensity levels. It has 16 levels, while the LUNA mini 2 merely has 8.
Material
The LUNA 3 is made of Hygienisches Silikon. The material of the FOREO LUNA mini 2 is Hygienisches Silikon. Both are hygienic and waterproof.You shouldn't wash them in a dish washer. Silicon Spray is recommended instead.
Battery
The LUNA 3 has a longer lasting battery. The producer states that it can be used 650 before recharging is necessary. By contrast, the LUNA mini 2 can be used 300 before charging it again.
Only the LUNA 3 includes a USB-charging cable for your device.
For the LUNA 3 it takes 2 hours to charge. The LUNA mini 2 takes 1 hours.
