Where are the differences?

Let's compare the two Sony branded gaming headsets and take a closer look at the differences between the Inzone H3* and Inzone H9*.

What year are the headsets from?

The release year is of course important when comparing two headsets. After all, the release date has an influence on the state of the art and usually also affects the price. There is no difference in this comparison. Both gaming headsets, the Sony Inzone H3 and the Sony Inzone H9, are from the year 2022. Thus, the technical starting point is not very different.

Connection options

Let's start with the connectivity options from Sony Inzone H3 and Sony Inzone H9. Both give you the option to be wired. A wired connection reduces connection problems and interference, which is an advantage. In return, the cable can possibly interfere.

Radio offers the disadvantage that there can be interference in the verdinbung. In addition, with radio you are usually dependent on a battery, which can also go flat during use. Only with the Sony Inzone H9* do you get the option to connect wirelessly. This is not possible with the Sony Inzone H3. However, often the wireless headsets also offer the additional option to connect the headset via cable.

Battery

In this comparison, only the Sony Inzone H9 has an integrated battery. The Sony Inzone H9 has a battery life of up to 32,0 hours.

Audio

Both gaming headsets have a driver of 40 mm and thus do not differ. The bigger the driver, the better and louder low frequencies can be reproduced. However, it depends on more factors and can therefore only be taken as a small benchmark.

The frequency range starts at 5 Hz for both models. The end is at 20000 Hz for both. What is really important here is the range between 50 Hz and 10,000 Hz, which is covered by just about every headset nowadays.

Microphone

Of course, both headsets have a microphone built in, which is also adjustable. The microphone is not detachable on either model.

Both microphones have a frequency range which starts at 5 Hz. The end of both microphones is at 20000 Hz

Volume control and mute

Almost every gaming headset offers the possibility of volume control and mute. So it is also in this case.

Both models offer the option of muting. The operation is done for the Sony Inzone H3 and Sony Inzone H9 by Auricle.

Which headset has more features?

Finally, let's take a look at the equipment. Here, some models have lighting.
