When it comes to the technical specifications of a robot vacuum cleaner, height is especially important. Robot vacuums with a lower height can clean better under furniture, as they can better drive under cabinets or even the couch. Decisive for the suction power is the suction force, which is indicated in Pascal (abbreviated: pa). Here we have no difference between the Roborock S7 MaxV Plus and Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra. The maximum suction force is identical to 5100 pa. It is the suction force at the maximum suction level. Depending on the suction level, the value may of course be lower.
Does the battery performance differ?
The battery life is identical for both units with 3,0 hours. The longer the battery life, the longer the robot vacuum can clean at a stretch without having to return to its charging station. If you have many square meters, a longer battery life is always better. Thus, neither the Roborock S7 MaxV Plus, nor the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is the winner here.
What can the apps do?
Numerous vacuum robots can now be programmed and also controlled via apps. Adjustable are, for example, premises, maps as well as running times. Some suction robots can then be started conveniently on the go. For both vacuum robots, the Roborock S7 MaxV Plus and the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, there is an App. Here both vacuum cleaners work with the same app: Roborock. Is there a wipe function?

The both vacuum robots can feature an integrated wiping function and are thus both wiping robots. Both devices work with vibrations at the wiping plate. This is to realize scrubbing, which removes dirt better and leads to a better cleaning result. The pure wiping function without vibration has not shown good cleaning result in most suction-wiping robots. Basically, the mop is just dragged across the floor.

Which vacuum motor has the larger collection tank?
The collection bins of both vacuum robots are equal in size with 400 ml. So both vacuum cleaners perform equally here. A larger dust bin is an advantage, as it means the dust chamber has to be emptied less often.
However, it should be noted that both vacuum cleaners from the comparison include a suction station for self-draining. This means that the dirt collection bin of the Roborock S7 MaxV Plus and the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra is automatically emptied after the cleaning process during recharging. For you, this means that you will need to empty the dust chamber from the vacuum cleaners themselves less often.
