Where are the differences?

The two vacuuming robots of the Roborock brand differ in a few ways. Let's take a look at the differences between the Roborock S6 MaxV* and Roborock S6 Pure* in comparison.

release date (release)

The age is of course interesting when comparing the two vacuum cleaner robots. Here both devices originate from the year 2020. Thus, both devices would have the same technical starting point.

Which robot vacuum cleaner is falcher?

When it comes to the technical specifications of a robot vacuum cleaner, height is especially important. Robot vacuums with a lower height can clean better under furniture, as they can better drive under cabinets or even the couch. The Roborock S6 MaxV and the Roborock S6 Pure have an identical device height of 9.6 cm and thus do not differ in the point of height.

Vacuum power comparison

The vacuum power is decisive for the suction power and is specified in Pascal (pa). In comparison, Roborock S6 MaxV vs Roborock S6 Pure, the Roborock S6 MaxV with 2000 pa has a higher suction power and thus performs better. The suction power of the Roborock S6 Pure is 2000 pa. This is the suction power at the highest suction level, i.e. the maximum suction power. The higher it is, the better a robot vacuum cleaner can suck.

Does the battery performance differ?

The battery life is identical for both units with 3,0 hours. The longer the battery life, the longer the robot vacuum can clean at a stretch without having to return to its charging station. If you have many square meters, a longer battery life is always better. Thus, neither the Roborock S6 MaxV, nor the Roborock S6 Pure is the winner here.

What can the apps do?

Numerous vacuum robots can now be programmed and also controlled via apps. Adjustable are, for example, premises, maps as well as running times. Some suction robots can then be started conveniently on the go. For both vacuum robots, the Roborock S6 MaxV and the Roborock S6 Pure, there is an App. Here both vacuum cleaners work with the same app: Roborock. However, this does not necessarily mean that the functions are identical. Often, manufacturers only unlock new functions for newer vacuum robots. Both vacuum robots allow zone cleaning via the app. Thus, only certain areas are cleaned without having to set up additional obstacles.

Voice control

Many robotic vacuum cleaners can now be controlled by voice assistants, allowing for convenient operation.

The two vacuum robots can be operated with Amazon's Alexa voice control. Neither device can be controlled using Google's voice assistant (Google Assistant).

Is there a wipe function?

In addition to the pure suction function, some vacuum robots also have an integrated wiping function. This combines two devices in one and the cleaning performance is significantly increased - not to mention the time saved. The models are then called suction-wiping robots.

The both vacuum robots can feature an integrated wiping function and are thus both wiping robots.

The water tank of the Roborock S6 MaxV has a larger capacity with 300 ml than that of the Roborock S6 Pure with only 180 ml. This is an advantage for Roborock S6 MaxV.

Which vacuum motor has the larger collection tank?

The collection bins of both vacuum robots are equal in size with 460 ml. So both vacuum cleaners perform equally here. A larger dust bin is an advantage, as it means the dust chamber has to be emptied less often.
