Roborock Q7+ vs S6 Pure - Where are the differences?
Where are the differences?
The two vacuuming robots of the Roborock brand differ in a few ways. Let's take a look at the differences between the Roborock Q7+* and Roborock S6 Pure* in comparison.
release date (release)
The age of the two vacuum cleaner robots is of course interesting in the comparison. After all, there are changes in technology every year. There are 2 years between the releases of the two models. The Roborock Q7+ was launched in the year 2022. Thus, the Roborock S6 Pure is older with the year of release 2020.
Which robot vacuum cleaner is falcher?
When it comes to the technical specifications of a robot vacuum cleaner, height is especially important. Robot vacuums with a lower height can clean better under furniture, as they can better drive under cabinets or even the couch. The Roborock Q7+ and the Roborock S6 Pure have an identical device height of 9.6 cm and thus do not differ in the point of height.
Vacuum power comparison
The vacuum power is decisive for the suction power and is specified in Pascal (pa). In comparison, Roborock Q7+ vs Roborock S6 Pure, the Roborock Q7+ with 2000 pa has a higher suction power and thus performs better. The suction power of the Roborock S6 Pure is 2000 pa. This is the suction power at the highest suction level, i.e. the maximum suction power. The higher it is, the better a robot vacuum cleaner can suck.
Does the battery performance differ?
The battery life is identical for both units with 3,0 hours. The longer the battery life, the longer the robot vacuum can clean at a stretch without having to return to its charging station. If you have many square meters, a longer battery life is always better. Thus, neither the Roborock Q7+, nor the Roborock S6 Pure is the winner here.
What can the apps do?
Numerous vacuum robots can now be programmed and also controlled via apps. Adjustable are, for example, premises, maps as well as running times. Some suction robots can then be started conveniently on the go. For both vacuum robots, the Roborock Q7+ and the Roborock S6 Pure, there is an App. Here both vacuum cleaners work with the same app: Roborock. However, this does not necessarily mean that the functions are identical. Often, manufacturers only unlock new functions for newer vacuum robots. Both vacuum robots allow zone cleaning via the app. Thus, only certain areas are cleaned without having to set up additional obstacles.
Voice control
Many robotic vacuum cleaners can now be controlled by voice assistants, allowing for convenient operation.
The two vacuum robots can be operated with Amazon's Alexa voice control. The Roborock Q7+ has voice control with Google Assistant, unlike the Roborock S6 Pure.
Is there a wipe function?
In addition to the pure suction function, some vacuum robots also have an integrated wiping function. This combines two devices in one and the cleaning performance is significantly increased - not to mention the time saved. The models are then called suction-wiping robots.
The both vacuum robots can feature an integrated wiping function and are thus both wiping robots.
If the Roborock Q7+ detects a carpet, the unit raises the squeegee and only vacuums. This way, there is no need to clear the carpets before mopping. The Roborock S6 Pure does not have this advantage.
With a filling capacity of 180 ml, both water tanks of the suction-wiping robots have the identical capacity.
Which vacuum motor has the larger collection tank?
Since the collection bin of the Roborock Q7+ with 750 ml has a larger capacity compared to the Roborock S6 Pure, it can hold more dirt. Thus, the dust chamber of the Q7+ needs to be emptied less frequently. The Roborock S6 Pure has a dust bin with 460 ml capacity.
For the Roborock Q7+* there is an additional suction station for self-drainage. This empties the collection container, which means you have to remove the dirt less often. There is no suction station for the Roborock S6 Pure.
