Proscenic 830T vs Roborock S7 - Where are the differences?
Where are the differences?
The 830T robot vacuum cleaner differs a few points from the Roborock S7. Let's go into the differences in detail.
Which robot vacuum cleaner is falcher?
When it comes to the technical specifications of a robot vacuum cleaner, height is especially important. The height of the vacuum robot is interesting in comparison. At 7.6 cm, the Proscenic 830T is built more hawkishly and thus performs better. The flatter the robot is, the better it can clean under cabinets, the couch or other furniture. The Roborock S7 is higher with a device height of 9.6 cm.
Vacuum power comparison
The suction power depends on the maximum suction force. This is specified in Pascal (short: pa). In this point there is a difference in the comparison Proscenic 830T vs Roborock S7. The Roborock S7 offers higher suction power in comparison with 2500 pa. This makes it the better vacuum robot in this point. However, the suction power is lower depending on the suction level. The maximum suction power is always indicated. With the Proscenic 830T you get a suction power of 1800 pa.
Does the battery performance differ?
The Proscenic 830T has a lower battery life than 2,0 hours with the Roborock S7 in comparison. The longer battery life means the Roborock S7 has to return to the charging station less often, allowing it to clean longer at a stretch. This also allows the model to vacuum more quad meters at a time. Both devices need 5,0 hours to be fully charged.
What can the apps do?
Numerous vacuum robots can now be programmed and also controlled via apps. Adjustable are, for example, premises, maps as well as running times. Some suction robots can then be started conveniently on the go. For both vacuum robots, the Proscenic 830T and the Roborock S7, there is an App. The two vacuum robots are addressed and programmed with different apps. The app for the Proscenic 830T is called ProscenicHome. The name for the app of the Roborock S7 was Roborock. The Roborock S7 allows zone cleaning. Compared to the Proscenic 830T without this feature, this is a big advantage.
Voice control
Many robotic vacuum cleaners can now be controlled by voice assistants, allowing for convenient operation.
The two vacuum robots can be operated with Amazon's Alexa voice control. The Proscenic 830T has voice control with Google Assistant, unlike the Roborock S7.
Is there a wipe function?
In addition to the pure suction function, some vacuum robots also have an integrated wiping function. This combines two devices in one and the cleaning performance is significantly increased - not to mention the time saved. The models are then called suction-wiping robots.
The both vacuum robots can feature an integrated wiping function and are thus both wiping robots. The Roborock S7* offers as a special feature a vibrating wiping plate. Through this, scrubbing is realized, with which the dirt is better removed and a better cleaning result is produced. The pure wiping function without vibration has not shown good cleaning result in most suction-wiping robots. Basically, the mop is just dragged across the floor.
For a carpet, the Roborock S7 automatically raises the wiper and only vacuums. This offers the advantage that the carpets do not have to be cleared away. The Proscenic 830T cannot do this.
The water tank of the Proscenic 830T has a larger capacity with 350 ml than that of the Roborock S7 with only 300 ml. This is an advantage for Proscenic 830T.
Which vacuum motor has the larger collection tank?
The dust chamber of the Proscenic 830T with 400 ml is smaller than that of the Roborock S7 with 470 ml. The larger the dirt collection bin, the less frequently it needs to be emptied. So the larger capacity in the dust bin is an advantage for the Roborock S7.
The Roborock S7* offers the possibility to use a suction station for self-draining. This station automatically empties the vacuum cleaner after the cleaning process, so you have to remove the dirt less often. This advantage is not available for the Proscenic 830T.
