Kärcher K2 vs K5 - Where are the differences?
Where are the differences?
Let us compare the two high-pressure cleaners from Kärcher and look at the differences between the Kärcher K2 and the Kärcher K5.
Wasserdruck
The maximum pressure of the Kärcher K2 is lower with 110 bar. With the Kärcher K5 the maximum pressure is with 145 bar. Both pressure washers have a minimum pressure of 20 bar.Cleaning area
With a larger plot of land or a larger area to be cleaned, it naturally makes sense to pay attention to the cleaning area. With 20 m²/h the Kärcher K2 creates a smaller cleaning area. The Kärcher K5 cleans a cleaning area of 40 m²/h.
Performance
The Kärcher K2 provides a water flow of 360 l/h. With the K2 the water flow is 500 l/h. Thus the the Kärcher K2 is in front in comparison.
Hose length
The hose length determines how far you can move with the pressure washer. However, the length should not be a decisive criterion, as you can usually buy and connect another hose. With 4 m the supplied hose of the Kärcher K2 is shorter. With the Kärcher K5 a hose of 8 m is delivered.
Weight
The weight of a pressure washer can be decisive. The heavier the unit, the more complicated it is to move. However, a shearer machine is more stable. The Kärcher K2 is with 4.3 kg easier than the Kärcher K5. The K5 has a higher weight of 14 kg.
