In the loading time the JBL GO 2 performs better with 2,5 hours. With the JBL Flip Essential 2 the loading time is 3,0 hours. With 3250 mah the JBL Flip Essential 2 has a larger battery capacity. With the JBL GO 2 the capacity is 730 mah.

Waterproof

Both speakers are waterproof. The JBL Flip Essential 2 is certified with IP67. With the JBL GO 2 a IPX7 certification is present.

Bluetooth

With Bluetooth version 5.1 the JBL Flip Essential 2 has a newer version than the JBL GO 2. There we have Bluetooth of the version 4.1. A newer Bluetooth version offers a better stability in the connection. Thus also a higher comfort in the application is given.

Powerbank

With the Powerbank function, other devices can be charged via USB using the speaker. Of course, this is at the expense of the battery life of the speaker.
