Where are the differences?

With regard to battery life, the JBL Boombox can trump with up to 24,0 hours. The JBL Boombox has a battery life of up to 5,0 hours. In practice, the specification of the battery life can often be somewhat lower, since the manufacturers specify the maximum possible performance. In the loading time the JBL GO 2 performs better with 2,5 hours. With the JBL Boombox the loading time is 6,5 hours. With 20000 mah the JBL Boombox has a larger battery capacity. With the JBL GO 2 the capacity is 730 mah.

Waterproof

Both speakers are waterproof. Both the JBL GO 2 and the JBL Boombox are certified with IPX7.

Bluetooth

With Bluetooth version 4.2 the JBL Boombox has a newer version than the JBL GO 2. There we have Bluetooth of the version 4.1. A newer Bluetooth version offers a better stability in the connection. Thus also a higher comfort in the application is given.

Powerbank

The function of a powerbank provides the JBL Boombox. With the Powerbank function, other devices can be charged via USB using the speaker. Of course, this is at the expense of the battery life of the speaker.
