JBL Boombox 3 vs Clip 3 - Where are the differences?

Size and weight

In the loading time the JBL Clip 3 performs better with 3,0 hours. With the JBL Boombox 3 the loading time is 6,5 hours.

Waterproof

Both speakers are waterproof. The JBL Boombox 3 is certified with IPX67. With the JBL Clip 3 a IPX7 certification is present.

Bluetooth

With Bluetooth version 5.3 the JBL Boombox 3 has a newer version than the JBL Clip 3. There we have Bluetooth of the version 4.1. A newer Bluetooth version offers a better stability in the connection. Thus also a higher comfort in the application is given.

Powerbank

The function of a powerbank provides the JBL Boombox 3. With the Powerbank function, other devices can be charged via USB using the speaker. Of course, this is at the expense of the battery life of the speaker.
