The BenQ GS1 can run at a maximum of 300 Lumen, which is less than the BenQ GS2 runs on. the BenQ GS2's maximum performance are 500 Lumen.
Resolution
Another key consideration when purchasing a mini projector, is its resolution. Some mini projectors support HD, others Full HD, and then there's even True UHD or 4K mini projectors. When it comes to these two, The BenQ GS1 runs on HD with a 1280 x 720 resolution. The BenQ GS2's resolution is also 1280 x 720, and can therefore be labelled HD too. There's no difference in terms of resolution between the two.
